on July 2, 2026

On July 2, 2026, the Agricultural Sciences Research Station—Hohenheim-Meiereihof —welcomed members of the University Association. The visit focused on the NOcsPS research project (“Agriculture 4.0 without Synthetic Chemical Pesticides”) and one of the two new buildings of the HoLMiR research platform (Hohenheim Center for Livestock Microbiome Research).

The guests gained a comprehensive insight into current research activities at the University of Hohenheim and were able to learn about the status of the projects firsthand. During the tour, both the infrastructure and the scientific approaches were presented and discussed.

The visit provided a valuable opportunity for dialogue between the research community and society in general, and underscored the importance of innovative science in shaping sustainable, future-proof agriculture.
