Federal Minister Cem Özdemir visited the University of Hohenheim

Federal Minister Cem Özdemir was the special guest at the University of Hohenheim on Wednesday, 02.11.2022. During his visit, he was informed about various ongoing agricultural and nutrition research cases. The main topics during his visit were - besides an exchange with two Hohenheim start-up companies - global food security under a sustainable and resilient bioeconomy, alternative energy sources - bioenergy and agri-photovoltaics, and Bread of the Future from Agriculture 4.0.

The last point also included a presentation of our joint project, NOcsPS, from the BMBF-funded Agricultural Systems of the Future. Especially in the area of alternatives to existing agricultural systems, the Federal Minister showed great interest and emphasized his support for this topic.
